Hi, I'm Jon Ryan.  Creating artistic things (or trying to) has always been something I can't help but pursue.  First, there was music.  When I was a kid I was a drummer, and after banging away for a few years I decided it was time for me to play guitar and sing.  I loved creating music, so naturally I found a girl who was an amazing singer and married her.  We both dabbled in painting.  I wasn't that great.  We started a family and needed more furniture, so I put my woodworking creation skills to the test and made (still make) various pieces of furniture for our home.  There's just something so satisfying about making things with your hands, a saw, a drill, and some cheap stain from Home Depot.  Bottom line is, I love to create - even if it's dusty, messy, or loud.

But you're not here for all that.  You're here because I've also fallen in love with creating stories through film.  There's something magical and inspiring about a collection of cinematic shots set to music.  There's something priceless about reliving your wedding day through film.  I capture these moments so that you can enjoy them for years to come.
